ESG Advisory recognizes that the successful integration and implementation of its Clients’ ESG initiatives, heavily relies on top management’s appreciation of the business value proposition that ESG presents to their businesses, and commitment of resources to realize the same. We, therefore, support our clients to develop tailor-made ESG Strategies which speak to their past, present, and future ESG-proof business aspirations.
This entails the identification of ESG priority areas which form a basis for undertaking a materiality assessment, to determine ESG material issues unique to our clients. Baseline studies are conducted to appreciate the past and present state of each ESG material issue. These later form the basis of identifying interventions required to address all identified ESG material concerns.
An ESG plan brings to life the commitments stated in an ESG Strategy. It spells out the ESG concerns, initiatives to address them, required inputs, performance indicators, responsible persons, timelines, and costs estimates. ESG Advisory is equipped with expertise and tools to put together the ESG Implementation Plans.
We appreciate that some clients may prefer to outsource the implementation supervision of their ESG initiatives. ESG Advisory has a team of hands-on experts capable of implementing the initiatives on-site alongside our clients’ day-to-day operations.
Keeping internal and external stakeholders updated about the state of ESG performance, is very critical. ESG Advisory currently has 2 of its experts certified to undertake Sustainability reporting based on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Reporting Standards. The team is also familiar with other Sustainability reporting standards which may be preferred by our clients.
At ESG Advisory, we appreciate and recommend scheduled ESG performance audits, to keep our clients updated regarding the effectiveness of their ESG initiatives to deliver the intended results. The audit outcome facilitates critical decision making regarding the extent to which existing ESG Strategies and Plans can address previously identified ESG concerns. This eventually can inform the necessity to re-visit the ESG Strategy objectives, to inform a redirection of action.
ESG Advisory recognizes that Clients’ Board of Directors, Top Management and all employees, support staff and service providers, play a critical role in planning, implementation, and M&E of their employers’ ESG Strategies. Our firm’s diverse and hands-on ESG team has put together ESG training content tailor-made for various business sectors. Our trainings are participatory and rely on case studies and scenarios to demonstrate practical successful interventions, challenges and opportunities associated with businesses, which have either adopted or not considered ESG as a catalyst to successful business undertakings.
